1. What is elftipp?
elftipp is a free prediction and manager game for football competitions (including the Bundesliga, Premier League and LaLiga). You play in a prediction round set up by a host — your circle of friends, a bar, a club, a company or an event. You join via a link or QR code and simply pick a nickname.
2. Free to play — no stakes, no gambling
Playing is free of charge. Stakes are neither possible nor permitted: neither the provider nor the host may make participation conditional on any payment, and elftipp does not collect stakes or pay out money prizes. This is not gambling — it is a free entertainment game about points and rankings.
If anyone in your round asks you to pay to play or to "put money in a pot", that violates our rules — please report it to kontakt@elftipp.com.
3. Your nickname
You choose your nickname freely. Please do not use a name that identifies you or anyone else, and no offensive, unlawful or objectionable names. The provider and the host may remove inadmissible nicknames or suspend participation.
4. Your data
We only process the data needed for the game (nickname, predictions and score, a technical recognition token on your device). No real name is required. Details are in the privacy policy.
5. Prizes offered by the host
Any prizes (e.g. free drinks, vouchers or non-cash prizes) are offered and handed out solely by the respective host, voluntarily. elftipp does not handle money and does not process redemptions; the app merely displays possible prizes. A code identifies you to the host. The host alone is responsible for the conditions and handover of prizes — including legal requirements such as age limits for alcoholic prizes (no alcohol for minors).
6. Fair play
Predictions can be entered and changed until kick-off of the respective match; after that they are final. Attempts at manipulation (e.g. multiple entries under different identities, technical interference) may lead to exclusion from the round.
7. No warranty
The match and sports data shown come from external providers. We accept no liability for their accuracy or timeliness, or for uninterrupted availability of the game.
8. Liability
The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In all other respects, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damage, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Changes
